The EU market is waiting for Moldovan fruits !
After a selection competition, Smarta-as SRL participates in the training of the Export Coaching program, initiated by the Dutch CBI team, APEF Moldova Fruct, with the support of the World Bank and the USAID / APM program.
The program aims to prepare participants for accessing European markets. It consists of 4 modules, the last stage being the creation of the company's marketing plan and the participation in the Fruit Logistica exhibition in Berlin in February 2020.
Together with 19 producers of fresh fruits and honey from the Republic of Moldova we participated in the organized courses. Due to the efficient guidance of the Dutch experts, we were able to establish the strengths of the company but also the points that require extra effort. We have learned what marketing means and we have learned, I believe the most important quality: research of foreign markets, as well as trends in the agricultural field.
Recently, we took a study visit within the Export Coaching program. The visit took place in Italy, Rimini, at the MACFRUT 2019 exhibition. This allowed us to find new promotional solutions, to discuss with some of the best apple producers in Italy and to establish the development vector for the coming years.
